Legend OFF the Road.

Elross Caravans was built on one simple belief: if you’re going to explore Australia properly, your caravan needs to be built tough. Since the early 1980s, we’ve earned our reputation by building caravans made for Australia’s most untamed, unforgiving terrain, and that same spirit still drives us today—strength, durability, and versatility in every van we produce. Our approach is built on three fundamentals: unmatched reliability, serious off-road capability, and meticulous craftsmanship. These values shape every Elross build and keep us improving—refining our designs and developing smarter, stronger solutions for modern touring. While we’re tough by heritage, we’re also refined by today’s standards, with in-house engineering and proven chassis design, modern technology for off-grid travel, and interiors that deliver real comfort with clean, practical style.

Elross has been family run for 10 years and counting, and that matters because it shapes how we operate: we take pride in every van that leaves our workshop, we make decisions with long-term quality in mind (not short-term volume), and you deal with a team that genuinely cares about your build and your experience. We don’t just talk about toughness—we prove it, with every Elross caravan tested in Western Australia’s harshest conditions. We build here and we test here, because WA terrain is as demanding as it gets—if it performs in these extremes, it’s ready for wherever you want to go. Elross stands for rugged dependability, bespoke craftsmanship, and a better way to travel—because with Elross, you’re not just hitting the road, you’re redefining it.

  • Choosing the right caravan is not just about layout or features — it’s about how the caravan is built and who is behind it.

At Elross, we focus on a few key principles:

    • In-house engineered chassis, built for real off-road conditions

    • Factory-direct model, giving you direct access to the team building your van

    • Composite construction, designed for strength and thermal performance

    • Off-grid systems designed as a complete solution, not just components

    • Built in Western Australia, for Australian conditions

We are not a volume manufacturer. Every build is approached with long-term performance and usability in mind..

We have two distinct Off road products. Our High spec ECX models providing great off road touring capabilities and plentiful options while remaining weight friendly, and our premium Ultimate off-grid models the ECXR range, with all the capacity and luxurious features you would expect from a premium off road caravan built for the rugged WA conditions.

  • Proudly Australian-Made

Every Elross caravan is built right here in Perth, using local materials and suppliers where we can. This factory-direct model not only ensures top-notch quality, but also eliminates middlemen, allowing us to pass the savings on to our customers that otherwise dealers would add, further increasing the price of our bespoke offerings.

    Flexible Design Options

We understand that every adventurer’s needs are different. That’s why we offer flexibility in our layouts and features, allowing you to adjust design elements to fit your lifestyle without deviating from our proven, robust core structures.

    Engineered for Off-Grid Adventures

Our caravans are built to thrive in Australia’s most challenging environments. With advanced off-grid capabilities like solar power systems, water management solutions, and durable Cruisemaster suspension, you’ll be fully equipped to explore off the beaten path.

    Committed, Local Team

When you choose Elross, you’re not just getting a caravan—you’re joining a family. Our dedicated team supports you throughout the entire journey, from your initial consultation to long after your caravan is on the road. We’re here to ensure your adventures are seamless and stress-free.

  • Western Australia presents some of the toughest conditions in the country.

From corrugations and heat to long-distance remote travel, it demands more from both vehicle and caravan.

    Every Elross caravan is:

    • designed in WA

    • built in WA

    • tested in WA

If a caravan performs here, it will perform anywhere.

From the Director

When I took over Elross in 2015, the goal was simple.

Build caravans that are genuinely capable — not just marketed that way.

There’s a big difference between something that looks the part and something that performs in real conditions.

That’s why we focus heavily on:

  • chassis design

  • system integration

  • long-term durability

We don’t rush builds, and we don’t build to a price point first. We build to a standard — and that standard has to hold up in Australian conditions
