Elross bunk and custom accommodation caravans provide flexible sleeping capacity for remote mining, exploration, civil and infrastructure projects. Bunk-style layouts can accommodate larger crews within a practical mobile footprint, making them suitable for temporary camps, rotating workforces and projects where efficient use of space is essential.
Custom solutions can be developed around specific personnel numbers, site conditions and operational requirements. Available configurations may combine bunk rooms, private sleeping areas, kitchenettes, storage or shared living spaces within a single unit. Individual air conditioning, lighting and power access can be incorporated to support occupant comfort and daily use. Optional tropical roofs and advanced off-grid solar and lithium battery packages are also available. Each unit is designed in consultation with the client to align with project specifications, environmental objectives, transport requirements and available site infrastructure.
ERS5.0c - ERS8.0c
Office/Crib rooms.
Elross ERS office and crib room caravans provide practical mobile facilities for mining, exploration, civil, infrastructure and remote worksites. The range accommodates smaller field teams through to larger crews, with capacities from two to twelve personnel. Layouts can be configured as dedicated site offices, crib rooms or combined work and meal facilities. Available options include galley kitchens, refrigeration, cooking appliances, storage, workstations, seating and individual climate control. Remote off-grid packages can incorporate solar generation and lithium battery storage to reduce generator dependency and support environmental objectives. Each unit is designed and manufactured in Western Australia, with configurations tailored around personnel capacity, site infrastructure, transport requirements and operating conditions.
-
The ERS 5.0C is a compact, single-axle office or crib room caravan designed for smaller crews and short-duration projects. Its key advantage is its lower weight and manoeuvrable footprint, making it well suited to small works, inspections, maintenance teams and locations with restricted site access. It can also be relocated more easily as operational requirements change.
Despite its compact size, the ERS 5.0C can be configured with practical seating, work surfaces, storage and a galley kitchenette. Appliance and electrical options can be selected around the intended use, whether the unit is primarily required as a site office, meal room or combined facility. Off-grid solar and lithium battery packages are available for remote deployment, helping reduce generator runtime and supporting more environmentally responsible site operations.
-
The dual-axle ERS 6.0C provides a practical step up in capacity for crews of approximately five to seven personnel. It offers additional internal space for seating, workstations, storage and meal preparation while remaining compact enough for regular relocation between projects. This makes it suitable for exploration teams, civil contractors, maintenance crews and temporary project sites.
The interior can be configured as a dedicated crib room, mobile site office or combined facility. A broad range of galley options and appliances is available, including refrigeration, cooking equipment, sinks, cabinetry and dedicated power access. For projects beyond established infrastructure, the ERS 6.0C can be equipped with solar generation and lithium battery storage. These options reduce reliance on continuous generator operation and support project environmental and emissions-reduction objectives.
-
The dual-axle ERS 7.0C is designed for medium-sized crews requiring greater internal capacity, comfort and functionality. Accommodating approximately seven to nine personnel, it provides room for generous seating, practical work areas and a more comprehensive galley arrangement. It is well suited to mining, exploration, civil and infrastructure projects requiring a dependable shared facility.
Layouts can be tailored for use as a crib room, project office or combined office and meal area. Clients can select from an extensive range of kitchen appliances, refrigeration, cabinetry, storage and electrical options to suit daily operations. Remote off-grid capability is also available through integrated solar and lithium battery systems. When appropriately specified, these systems can reduce generator dependency, lower fuel consumption and support environmentally responsible deployment across remote Australian worksites.
-
The ERS 8.0C is the largest standard office and crib room model in the range, accommodating approximately nine to twelve personnel. Its extended 4.45T rated dual-axle platform provides greater flexibility for larger seating areas, multiple workstations, increased storage and comprehensive galley facilities. It is designed for larger crews, longer project durations and sites requiring a substantial shared facility.
The ERS 8.0C can be configured as a dedicated crib room, mobile office or combined operations facility. A wide selection of appliances, refrigeration, cooking equipment, cabinetry and electrical systems can be incorporated to match the project scope. Advanced solar generation and lithium battery packages are available for remote off-grid applications. These systems can assist in reducing generator runtime and operational fuel use while supporting client environmental policies and remote-site performance requirements.
-
Where a standard Elross ERS layout does not meet the operational brief, Elross can develop a tailored office or crib room solution around the client’s workforce, equipment and site requirements. Custom builds may combine offices, meeting areas, workstations, crib facilities, galley kitchens, storage or specialist operational spaces within one mobile platform.
The layout, personnel capacity and appliance package can be developed to suit project duration, deployment frequency and available infrastructure. Options may include specialised communications, enhanced climate control, additional refrigeration, expanded power access and project-specific storage. Remote off-grid packages can also incorporate solar generation and lithium battery capacity to reduce generator dependency and support environmental objectives. Each custom unit is developed through a structured design and technical review process to ensure the final configuration aligns with transport, operational and site requirements.
